On first meeting Maxine in person, we knew that she would be a great fit for our relaxed wedding in a beautiful country barn. Maxine was accommodating in arranging in-person meetings around our work schedule, patiently kept us on track when we let deadlines slip in the stress of wider wedding planning, and provided reassurance in the run-up to the wedding itself. We really appreciated all of Maxine’s ideas and her response to our feedback, ensuring that the wedding ceremony was personalised around us. Maxine’s warmth meant that she not only put our guests at ease as they were seated

We could not be happier with the amazing ceremony that Maxine put together for us. Nothing was too much trouble, every little detail was thought of and our ideas and feelings were at the forefront of her organisation and planning. From the compass points, to the hand-fasting, and our vows and the readings, it was all just perfect on our special day. Maxine took us from the first ideas at the very start of our journey, right through to us being man and wife without missing an iota of our wishes and wants. We could not recommend her more highly, and loved her being part of our big day.

We used Maxine as our celebrant on the 6th May 2023. We wanted a non religious ceremony that was centered about us as a couple and Maxine delivered. We didn’t know where to start and Maxine was great in giving us options and guiding us through the process. We ended up with a handfasting ceremony and it was wonderful. Everyone commented how they didn’t know that is where the saying ‘tied the knot’ came from. Maxine communicated our love story in such a humorous yet beautiful way that everyone was laughing one minute and tearing up the next. She made our ceremony unforgettable and truly magical

Maxine is a fantastic celebrant, we received so much praise on our ceremony for its uniqueness and the way she mingled with everybody so easily. She also helped us organise the timings and people extremely well and always went to great lengths to ensure everything was in place to go smoothly even when we had to make last minute changes, it would have been absolute chaos without her!

We also wanted to say a huge thank you for being such a wonderful celebrant. You exuded warmth from our first meeting, and it really came across in the ceremony. We appreciated your co-ordinating meetings that fitted our global time difference, and for the ‘walk through’ that we did in person a couple of days before the day itself. You very much calmed all nerves in that meeting! Your ideas and advice on how to make the ceremony meaningful and incorporate our various heritages were super helpful.
