More than a Wedding Planner
We met Aris in September 2015 in Korfu after we had talked first on Skype in April 2015. From the first moment, Aris was to us much more than a Wedding Planner – a friend, an advisor and a supporter. During the planning of our wedding, Aris was always at help when uncertainties occurred and showed us possible solutions. He is a very energetic and creative person. With this in mind, we started our wedding day on 3rd September 2016 very relaxed and it turned out to be a real fairytale wedding. Everything was just perfect and well-organized. Our guests felt taken care of and Aris was by the whole day by our side to handle everything in the background. We are very thankful to him for everything he did for us and we strongly hope that he and his wonderful family will visit us soon in Switzerland!

This day was just a perfect day…
It is not anything to organize a wedding and especially if it’s abroad. My future husband and I decided that we needed help to realize the bohemian wedding we were (I was) dreaming of. On a friend’s advice, we decided to contact a good wedding planner she knew, in October 2015, and that’s how we met Aris! He answered in maybe less than 1 hour, very positively and enthusiastically… the wedding was in August 2016. Aris is a very kind man, who knows very well his island, all the restaurants, venues, and professionals that will work for your wedding and how to get things done. He listens very carefully to what you have to say, in order to get to the smallest details. He told us when something was not possible but always came up with a solution… usually even better than the first idea. Thanks to him, the 25th of August 2016 will be a day that we will remember all our life… Everything was very well organized and he was there all day long. The only stress I felt was when I had to walk down the aisle!! All our friends and family were also amazed and had a great time. One of my uncles told me it was the most beautiful wedding he ever went to(!). Just to say how Aris can put magic on a simple idea and organize all of it so beautifully…. Aris, we’ll never find the words to express fully what we’re feeling, so simply thank you a thousand times, you’re the best!

Good, but not great
My fiance at the time and I decided to get married in Corfu a year ago and being from the UK we were very wary of doing business with someone from another country. After discussing with various wedding organisers, we have decided to take a chance at Belli Momenti. From our first email exchange with Aris and Nikki, we felt like we were in good hands. Aris was polite, energetic and quick to respond to our emails. Now, as bad as it feels after such a fantastic event in our lives, we feel like it is essential to share our experience with Belli Momenti and be transparent about it. During the Skype calls we had over the year, it didn't feel like Aris was paying any attention, nor was he taking any notes (only once, two weeks before the wedding). It was inconvenient as we had to repeat the same things several times until it finally got registered. We didn't have a huge budget, so the recommendations were kind of slim and when we informed Aris that we don't like the price or the quality of specific services we were told that there are no other options and that the prices are actually okay. So we took it upon ourselves and managed to find professionals who were willing to charge less and travel to Corfu. One of the most upsetting things was that ON THE WEDDING DAY, we received a call from Aris saying "Guys, sorry but the bus won't be able to come to pick the guests up as the hill to the villa is too steep, but pay extra, and I will arrange an alternative option." We were absolutely furious as Aris had visited the Villa before and had over a year to organise the bus ride for the guests, yet he only realised it only on the wedding day. Just before the ceremony, we had a snacks table and champagne, oh.. wait a minute, Aris forgot the champagne (the agreement was that we provide the champagne, Aris provides the glasses, and we had someone to pour it for the guests, but that didn't happen)... The Villa we stayed at was amazing, and the place we had our ceremony was beyond beautiful. Right on the balcony, we had a beautiful arch looking directly out to the sea and beautiful mountains. Our ceremony was flawlessly executed thanks to all of the hard work and planning by Aris. The photographers and videographers were delightful as well. The musicians were very talented and also very fun! We ended our wedding night with a catered meal at our Villa while we watched the stars in the sky - it was incredibly romantic. One last thing that went wrong was that we have agreed to keep the catering food (we had a buffet) until the next morning, but little did we know, they start packing up almost immediately. Some of our guests haven't even had a chance to try the food. When this issue got raised with Aris, less than half of the food came back. After all, a lot of other things DID go right, and we had a fantastic wedding. The decorations, flowers, cake, musicians and other little things were spot on. Aris & Nikki, thank you for an unforgettable wedding and your hard work. Please take this review with a pinch of salt, and as an opportunity to improve your service for future couples.
