The Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey

Set in the beautiful grounds of Woburn Abbey, The Sculpture Gallery, constructed by Henry Holland during 1789 and 1790 for the fifth Duke of Bedford as an orangery, is one of the most majestic and beautiful settings imaginable for your wedding ceremony and reception, with exclusivity guaranteed.

Located just outside the Georgian village of Woburn in Bedfordshire, the Sculpture Gallery is less than an hour from London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cambridge, with easy access from Junction 13 of the M1. 

The gallery and the adjoining Lantern Room are licensed for civil ceremonies, and we can host wedding receptions for seated parties of up to 248 guests. With its private gardens overlooking Camellia Lake, The Sculpture Gallery offers an elegant setting for your wedding day celebrations, whilst the terrace and rose garden also provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

A purpose-built dance floor in the centre of The Sculpture Gallery is the perfect spot for musical entertainment during the evening celebrations.

Should you wish to marry at The Sculpture Gallery but hold your wedding reception elsewhere, we can arrange civil ceremonies before 11 am. You and your guests can enjoy the venue and use the splendid setting for your photographs until midday.

Oliver Bertho, Executive Chef and his professional team in the kitchen provide a superb choice of wedding breakfast menus for you to select from. Your guests will enjoy imaginative dishes, elegant surroundings and impeccable service. Alternatively, we can design a word or an entire bespoke menu to fit your specifications. We also have an extensive wine list on offer and will assist with choosing the perfect wines to complement your selected menu.

At The Sculpture Gallery, we offer wedding couples a package price per guest, which gives you exclusive use of the venue, first-night accommodation for the newly married couple at The Woburn Estate’s own Woburn Hotel, reception drinks and canapés, a three-course wedding breakfast with wine and an evening buffet.
