Planning a wedding can be an exciting and romantic experience. Still, it can also be daunting and stressful, especially if you're planning a destination wedding in a foreign country. It involves making numerous decisions, selecting vendors, and caring for countless details, which can quickly become overwhelming. This is where a wedding planner comes in to save the day!
A wedding planner is a professional who specializes in organizing and coordinating weddings. They are experienced in creating beautiful, memorable events that run smoothly and provide a wide range of services to couples looking to plan their perfect day. One of the most significant benefits of hiring a wedding planner is that they can help you save time and reduce stress.
They take on most of the tasks in organizing a wedding, such as researching vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing timelines, leaving you more time to enjoy your engagement.
Another advantage of working with a wedding planner is that they have local professional expertise. If you're planning a destination wedding, a wedding planner can provide valuable advice on vendor selection and offer creative solutions to any problems. They are familiar with the local area and can help you navigate cultural differences, language barriers, and other logistical challenges.
A wedding planner can also help you stay within your budget. They will work with you to create a budget and ensure you don't overspend or miss any crucial details. They can also negotiate with vendors for the best prices and deals, making your money go further.
On your wedding day, a wedding planner will be there to ensure that everything runs seamlessly. They will oversee the vendors, manage the timeline, and handle any issues that may arise, leaving you free to enjoy your special day. They will be the point of contact for all vendors and guests, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
Our wedding planning and coordination service offers comprehensive services to help you plan your dream wedding. We work closely with you to discuss your budget and create an estimated plan, source quotes from suppliers that fit your budget, liaise with suppliers on budgets and packages and meet with them to ensure everything is in order.
We also provide support before the event via email, phone, WhatsApp, MS Teams, or Zoom for remote meetings. We will visit the venue to discuss setup and floor plans and assist you in creating the event timeline.
On the day before the event, we coordinate with suppliers to ensure that the floor plan is adhered to and oversee the details in setup. On the event day, we coordinate with suppliers to keep the timeline and assist the bridal party and groomsmen. After the event, we help with the stock-taking of beverages, oversee the clearing of the venue, and make on-the-day vendor payments.
Coordinating a wedding
While planning can be stressful, some couples enjoy the process together. However, they would require someone to ensure that all the planning they have done over the months is executed flawlessly. We provide an on-the-day coordination service whereby we meet with the couple a few weeks before the wedding to get a brief of what has been discussed with their suppliers.
On the day, we are onsite to ensure that suppliers deliver what is expected, the timeline is adhered to, and the event runs smoothly.
At Jewel Weddings Event Planners, we treat your wedding day as if we are crafting a precious jewel. As a registered company in Malta, we are dedicated to bringing your vision to life with our extensive experience and specialized team.
We are organising a destination wedding. Do we have to come to Malta before?
We run most of our meetings remotely. We hold calls and video calls as frequently as necessary to ensure that the couple is updated with progress and that any queries and concerns are addressed.
We are hesitant to deal with the legal aspect in Malta. How can we go about this?
Couples may wish to handle their paperwork in their country of origin. We can then organise a symbolic ceremony in Malta for them and their guests. There would then be no legal paperwork to file from Malta.
What is the best time to get married in Malta?
We are lucky to have sunshine most days of the year. However, May, June and September would probably be the best times. July and August tend to be very hot and hence are not advisable. Other months remain relatively sunny, but temperatures may fluctuate, and the risk of rain in the Autumn/ Winter months is unpredictable.
