A wool factory turned landmark

The Westin Valencia is a Modernista landmark of 1917 in central Valencia, built around a 1,900 square metre garden courtyard, with a Swarovski-lit ballroom and 135 rooms and suites.

Built in 1917 as the Industria Lanera Valenciana, the building is one of Valencia's finest examples of Modernista architecture. Its Secessionist facade of curved pediments and pale stone conceals a courtyard garden. It reopened as a hotel in 2006.

Couples marry in the garden courtyard or a daylit salon, both licensed for civil ceremonies. Guests then move to the ballroom beneath three Swarovski chandeliers, with cocktails and dinner also laid among the palms.
