Ceremonies in church, barn and walled garden

A Grade II listed manor in Berkshire, kept as a lived-in family home, with a church, barn, walled garden and marquee lawn in its grounds.

Ceremonies can take place in the church, which stands only a few steps from the house, or indoors in the newly built oak-framed barn, or outdoors in the walled garden, which was designed by an architect. Wickham House lists a church adjacent to the house, an indoor ceremony setting and an outdoor ceremony setting, so a couple can choose between a church, a barn and a garden for the ceremony itself.

Receptions

Marquee receptions and the barn

Wedding receptions are held in a privately hired marquee, positioned on a plot of land flanked by a grand avenue of oak trees. The marquee looks over the downs on one side and the main façade of the house on the other. Marquees can be hired through the preferred partner Covered Occasions, and the maximum guest number is 250.

Dining

Catering with Real Cooking

Dining is at the heart of the Wickham House experience. The estate works in partnership with Real Cooking, a Berkshire caterer, and the catering is delivered with finesse and close attention to detail. The partnership sits alongside the other preferred suppliers the estate brings together for a wedding, so the food and the rest of the day are planned by people who work together.
