While Balenciaga’s trench coat may look classic from the front, it turns to reveal an exaggerated vent, so the checked lining shows as you walk. Shown on the Fall ’23 runway in Paris, it’s cut from asymmetric cotton-twill panels. The flap at the front looks like it’s been lifted from tailored pants – a detail that Demna liberally sprinkled throughout the collection.
