Ceremonies in the Auld Keep and gardens
A castle near South Queensferry, taken as a whole for each wedding, with a medieval Auld Keep, a loch, lawns and a permanent Pavilion.
Ceremonies can be led by an independent celebrant. The Great Hall in the Auld Keep is reached by a staircase from the medieval tower and has a vaulted ceiling and original stonework. The Main Hall has a stained glass window, a grand staircase and panelled walls. Outdoors, the Courtyard has a white stone fountain and coloured arched doors, and the Front Lawn and estate gardens let couples be married with the castle behind them. Couples may also marry in a church elsewhere and then return to the castle to continue the celebrations.

Drinks, dinner and dancing
Drinks are served in and around the castle rooms, with fizz or personalised cocktails while the couple step away for photographs. Lawn games can be set up, and guests can relax in the Drawing Room or Library. The Armoury in the Auld Keep has an original open fireplace and is used for smaller gatherings.
