Ceremonies at Horsley Towers

A Victorian gothic mansion in East Horsley, Surrey, with a chapel, tiled cloisters and lakeside lawns, where the wedding and the stay share one estate.

Horsley Towers and the grounds have three fully licensed spaces for ceremonies, the Great Hall, the Sopwith Suite and the Charles Barry Room. The Great Hall has a vaulted ceiling and oak-panelled walls, and the Sopwith Suite has original features. Couples who marry in a church can arrive at the house in their bridal car afterwards. Outdoor ceremonies are by agreement with the event coordinator, and the three licensed rooms in the mansion are the indoor alternatives.

Receptions

Receptions and the wedding breakfast

The wedding breakfast can be a candlelit marriage feast in the Great Hall, which seats up to 120 guests for dinner. The Sopwith Suite is another choice for wedding breakfasts, and a reception can also be held in the Sopwith Lounge. The Charles Barry Room sits alongside the Towers Bar, which makes it well suited to evening receptions, and the estate takes up to 250 guests for the evening.
