Hidden among landscaped gardens, the grand Hunton Park Hotel is a stone’s throw from the Warner Bros studios. It sits in 22 acres of landscaped gardens in Kings Langley, just inside the M25, but it couldn’t feel further from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Hunton Park HotelI had been invited to share a trip with other bloggers to see what Hunton Park Hotel had to offer, and although it clashed with the football World Cup Final, we just couldn’t pass up on a chance to see the venue and sample the cuisine.
The tour
Our look round the venue was appropriately themed for the proximity to the film studios. In fact, part of the Hunton Park estate was used as Leavesden Film Studios in the 1990s. But with Harry Potter filmed so close, the tour had a magical theme and we were shown around the various rooms and beautiful grounds.
Weddings at Hunton Park
Hunton Park is licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 110 guests with six indoor and outdoor spaces as well as the facility to have a marquee which can accommodate up to 170 for dinner and dancing. With canapés, a five course wedding breakfast and a first anniversary stay included, their Luxury Package also includes a dedicated wedding coordinator to make sure your day is perfectly tailored to your requirements.
Dinner at Hunton Park
After our tour, dinner was served in the light and airy Orangery, a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds as beautiful floral displays decorated the room. Peach roses, purple roses, hydrangea and lush greenery filled the room and sweet flickering tea lights created a wonderful atmosphere as we enjoyed our meal.
This would be a gorgeous place for a wedding with ample grounds, beautiful rooms and delicious food – just add guests and a happy couple! Thanks for having us!
