Bale Bengong is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding for two. This open-air pavilion, with its traditional Balinese architecture and stunning views of the surrounding forest, offers a unique setting that embodies the spirit of Bali. For celebrations with up to 30 guests, the Pool Garden at Alila Ubud offers a serene and picturesque setting that embraces the tranquility of water. This versatile space can be transformed to match the couple’s vision, whether it’s a daytime celebration with the sun illuminating the landscape or an evening affair under a canopy of stars. Sculpture Garden 2, slightly larger, is ideal for more extensive celebrations, accommodating up to 80 guests. For grand celebrations, Sculpture Garden 1 can host up to 150 guests for the ceremony. INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN​

Weather in Bali is generally dry from April to October and wet from November to March. However, it does rain occasionally in the dry season and there can be many dry days in the wet season too. The wet season back-up plan is compulsory. The options available depend on the size of your group. For an intimate party with a maximum of 80 people, the meeting room is the back-up venue for a blessing ceremony. The dinner reception will be at our Plantation Restaurant or Cabana Lounge. Larger events will require a marquee. This will incur an additional charge and at least one month’s advance confirmation is essential.​

RAIN STOPPER SERVICES​

To ensure festivals and special events are not dampened by rain, the Balinese often perform a ritual to divert rain to other locations or to simply hold it back for several hours. This low-key ritual is performed by officiating small offerings and burning incense as well as a plate of fire (pengasepan), whose rising smoke is believed to push the clouds away. A religious ceremony performed by a Balinese Hindu priest to pray that rain is held or diverted during the event is available at IDR 5.250.000++/day (12 hours). Alila Ubud cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions or failure of the services provided by a Balinese rain stopper should you wish to use one.

It will be around 1,5 - 2 hours drive (depending on the traffic) from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Alila Ubud.
