I live in Florence (Tuscany - Italy), and I have worked as a Photographer specialising in Stage Photography for 20 years (theatre and cinema, set and backstage) and Wedding Photography for less than 10 years. I started to do Wedding Photography seven years ago because the marvels of daily life are exciting. No Director would be capable of communicating the unexpected that surrounds us.
I have done hundreds of Photoservices for theatre, which has given me a particular style for the Wedding Photography… Reportage… Documentary… or, if you prefer, Photojournalism… I like to call it THE REAL STORY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY.
The goal of a good photographer is to take pictures that will live forever. The wedding reportage that I offer reflects this natural approach. I like to think that a wedding day is a magical moment that deserves to be told how it happens. No contrived posing. No fake smiles. Moving discreetly, empathising with the people before photographing them and figuring out how near you can approach them… is the basis of good reportage.
