One Aldwych’s Grade II listed triangular building has long been recognised for its blend of Edwardian grandeur and Parisian elegance. For romantic weddings for up to 120 guests, One Aldwych is the perfect place for your special day. On a smaller scale, intimate weddings with 15 guests feel just right in one of the hotel’s stunning suites. One Aldwych is fully licenced to hold civil weddings and partnerships with The Westminster Registry Office.

For your reception, One Aldwych’s versatile private rooms and dining spaces are sure to delight. These charming spaces ooze character, with lots of natural daylight and views onto the dynamic backdrop of London life. Throughout the hotel, beautiful pieces of contemporary art and sculptures are on display – a talking point for your guests!

Press and Type Room

Seating 40 for dinner or meetings, and 50 standing for cocktails or drinks receptions, the Press & Type. Large windows provide plenty of natural light during the day, and a view onto the backdrop of busy London nightlife once the sun goes down. The room is also equipped with all the latest audio-visual technology, should you need it.

Dowsntairs at One Aldwych

With its own private entrance, this is our largest events space in the hotel. Guests arrive in style down the grand copper staircase into a private, fully-stocked bar with its carefully curated wine list. Below the bar is the large, open plan space which is ideal for standing receptions of up to 120 guests or 60 seated guests for lunch or dinner. The space can be designed and arranged flexibly to suit your occasion – it is your exclusive canvas!

The Library

Hosting cocktails in The Library is your elegant home from home solution. A stylish space on the ground floor, it’s the perfect place for drinks receptions for up to 35 guests. There is plenty of space to mingle, sofas to relax on and floor to ceiling windows surrounding the room to bring in natural light, or look out onto London’s exciting streets. The Library is also stocked with a collection of beautiful books on fashion, design, architecture and travel, as well as a selection of contemporary art pieces.

Working together, One Aldwych’s talented team of chefs will create a delicious wedding breakfast feast using the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Flowers at One, the in-house, award-winning florist will be on hand to create stunning arrangements and buttonholes, as well as a beautiful bridal bouquet.

There are an array of other enhancements available to give your wedding stand out and reflect your personalities. The night before to cheese courses, a personalised wedding cake to tableside cocktail demonstrations from One Aldwych’s award-winning mixologists, the hotel’s Events Team are in the know and there to help with your every requirement.

Hybrid event technology allows you to live-stream your wedding to faraway friends and family, enabling those who are unable to be there in person to still take part in your special day.
