Wasing Park, set amongst acres of stunning Berkshire countryside, is an award-winning and unique venue that offers the bride, groom and their guests the complete package - with accommodation including 26 boutique guest rooms, ceremony (civil service or in the Parish Church) and reception all within a minute’s walk from each other. This extremely romantic and discreet venue is available for the couple’s exclusive use.
Couples can marry in the stylish glass-walled Ceremony Barn, licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 140 guests. With folding glass doors it is spacious, light and airy creating a contemporary space embedded into its natural surroundings.
For an outdoor ceremony, couples can have their service in the licensed Victorian Summerhouse set in the gardens of this beautiful venue. The bride can walk from the Honeymoon Suite, through the gardens and up the aisle to this magical setting.
Alternatively, a pretty 15th Century Parish church lies just yards away from the Castle Barn where couples can also choose to marry or have a blessing.
Following the ceremony, receptions are held in the dramatic Castle Barn. This authentic and romantic venue can host up to 140 guests for the wedding breakfast and up to 240 guests for the evening entertainment. Recently-restored, the 18th Century barn has the appearance of a castle from the front with grand arches and crenellated stone walls. Perfect for photos!
Just a stone’s throw away you will find 5-star comfort in the Stables Lodge with 26 beautifully appointed bedrooms. For weddings choosing to take The Old Estate Rooms for their wedding night, Wasing Park offers complimentary use of the Bridal Cottage the night before your wedding*.
Perfect for pre-wedding pampering, the Bridal Cottage is set in the beautiful 4,000 acres Wasing Estate. With room for six guests, there is plenty of space for the bride and her maids, and her mother, to relax and get a good night’s sleep, without the worry of any additional costs to the wedding budget.
In the morning, the hair and make-up artists can arrive as early as required to begin the all-important preparation. At midday, the renowned Honeymoon Suite will be available for the bridal party to make their way to the venue to continue their morning; adding the final touches and posing for the all-important photographs before the big reveal to the person walking the bride down the aisle.
Wasing Park also offers the use of The Morning Room for the groom and his groomsmen from 10.30 am on the morning of the wedding.
