La Mamounia is a palace hotel on the edge of the old city walls of Marrakech, with a 450 sq m Grand Salon, restaurants and extensive gardens used for weddings and receptions.
La Mamounia stands against the ramparts of the old city of Marrakech. Its gardens trace back to the 18th century, when Prince Al-Mamoun inherited a thirteen-hectare estate known for open-air receptions, and the hotel opened there in 1923. The grounds hold olive and palm trees, roses and bougainvillea, with the Koutoubia minaret and the Atlas Mountains in view.
Ceremonies in the gardens and the Grand Salon
Le Menzeh, in the heart of the gardens, can host a civil wedding ceremony. Le Grand Salon measures 450 sq m and divides into three areas of 150 sq m. Cocktails, dinners and the evening party can move between the salon, the gardens, the restaurant terraces, the Moroccan tent and the Lanternes beside the pool.
