No. 103 · Autumn 2026

An 18th-century masseria in the olive groves
An 18th-century masseria near Mola di Bari in Puglia, run by the Pinto family, with olive groves, an illuminated courtyard and a kitchen that cooks from its own farm.
Domenico Pinto and his wife Isabella bought the masseria, and over the years it became a place for weddings, private events and stays. Domenico built up the agricultural business and Isabella the hospitality, and their children now work beside them: Chiara on sales and events, Nicole on administration and Vito on the land.

Ceremonies under the olive trees
Vows can be exchanged under centuries-old olive trees, in the illuminated courtyard or beneath the timber pergola facing the grove. There is no minimum number of guests: a ceremony can be as intimate as a couple wishes, and weddings are welcome for couples of every kind. The courtyard is lit after dark, and that lighting is part of its setting.

Chef Giuseppe Pedone and the kitchen
Chef Giuseppe Pedone, an Ambassador of Italian Cuisine in the World, trained in Parisian nouvelle cuisine and in starred restaurants before returning to Puglia to cook at Tenuta Pinto.
