A Grade II listed manor in Old Harlow, Essex, given over to one wedding party with its lake, gardens and marquee
Ceremonies can be held in the Lakeview Lounge, which has bay sash windows and views of the grounds, and in The Hall, the largest indoor space, which has chandelier lighting, a large mirrored wall, an original fireplace and sash windows. Outside, a gazebo stands right next to the lake, and in the summer months an outdoor ceremony structure gives couples the lake as a backdrop. The marquee is available all year. Ceremonies take up to 150 guests, and there are no minimum guest numbers, so an intimate wedding is possible too.
Receptions in the house and the marquee
A traditional sit-down wedding breakfast can be served inside the house or in the marquee, and a more relaxed meal without the formality of a sit-down is possible too. The Hall can also be used as an evening dancing space, and the Lakeview Lounge is transformed into a dance floor in the evening, helped by its closeness to the bar.
