Villa La Rondinaia
Ravello, Italy
Gore Vidal's former clifftop villa · Ravello, Amalfi Coast
No. 327 · Autumn 2026
Vows on the terraces above Minori
Gore Vidal's house from 1972, built into the cliff below Ravello: six suites, one party at a time and weddings of up to 80 guests.
A ceremony at La Rondinaia takes up to 80 guests, in the gardens or on one of the terraces above the sea, with the coast running from Minori to the point of Capo d'Orso in view. The in-house team plans the rite with the couple, from the first conversation to the vows, and for two alone there are elopement and proposal formats, with the house and its park to themselves.
Dinner on the panoramic terraces
Drinks and dinner are taken on the panoramic terraces beside the house, facing the Gulf of Salerno. The villa's rooms and its exteriors host the celebration: a gala dinner or a long lunch on the terraces, the garden paths and the pool terrace for the hours between, and the evening wherever the party settles.
