How to buy a knee-high boot
Measure the widest part of your calf before you order, and check it against the shaft width, because a boot that is tight at the calf will not stretch much. A side zip makes a close fit easier; a pull-on boot needs room. The top of the boot should sit just below the knee so it does not catch when you sit. Wear it with a skirt that covers the top of the shaft, or leaves a clear gap above it.
