Vivienne Westwood's tartan designs draw on Scottish traditions while retaining her signature subversive flair, as seen throughout the brand's history: from developing her own custom tartan in the FW93 'Anglomania' collection to reviving Harris Tweed fabrics. Made from wool, the 'Buchanan' dress has a cold-shoulder design with pinched fabric through the skirt for an asymmetrical look.
