Welcome

A castle built for Lord Tollemache

Peckforton Castle is a Grade I listed red sandstone castle of the 19th century in the Cheshire hills, taken for one wedding a day, with 48 bedrooms.

Peckforton Castle was raised in the 19th century in red sandstone for Lord Tollemache, with towers, battlements, a gatehouse and an inner courtyard. It is described as the only intact medieval-style castle in the country, and it commands the Cheshire plain, with the ruins of Beeston Castle across the valley.
