The bridal couture process begins in a consultation with the designer, ensuring that every dress is tailored to the client. Each gown is as individual as the woman who wears it; designed and embellished to order, in house and by hand.

Placing the bride's personality at the centre of the design process is a hallmark of Susie's approach;

"I want each bride to feel special, stylish and confident on her wedding day. I encourage our clients to break out of the mould of what a bride is expected to be and instead express their own unique style through their garments. When a dress is made just for you it should feel like a second skin and effortlessly chic".
The inspiration behind the Susie Stone bridal brand is vintage, classic designs that are timeless but with a modern edge. Every gown is well cut, tailored to perfection and made in the highest quality materials, harking back to the British fashion heritage of couture houses such as Normal Hartnell and Hardy Amies.

Growing up in a family working in fashion, retail and design, Susie cites fashion from the 1940s, 50s and 60s as a huge influence on her work:
"I always wanted to create clothes that would stand the test of time, feel luxurious and inject a bit of glamour into the sartorial choices of each customer".
