Wedding Salon open to Burlington Arcade visitors: 6th-9th June
Burlington Arcade is launching the newly decorated Ring Room at Richard Ogden in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee and the company’s own 60th anniversary. They have been at no 28 Burlington Arcade since 1952 and it is only fitting that they should re-open the Ring Room, transformed into a wedding salon, in time for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June.

For four days the arcade will become a one-stop dream for any bride, displaying engagement rings and wedding bands, Andrew Prince’s fabulous faux tiaras (including pieces used in the third series of Downton Abbey), bridal gowns by Gwen Russell and Phillipa Lepley, millinery by Rachel Trevor-Morgan, shoes by Emmy, wedding cakes by Peggy Porschen and sparkling wine by Grays & Feather.

Whether it’s ‘Something Old or Something New, Borrowed or Blue’, you can find the finest wedding gifts in the Burlington Arcade. It has been a luxury landmark in London ever since it was first unveiled to great acclaim in 1819.

As one of Britain’s first shopping arcades, it leads the way in retail trends and remains a pioneer to this day. Diamonds sparkle in both antique and contemporary settings, offset by the warmer glow of pearls and coloured gemstones; vintage watches mark the passage of time, alongside a collection of fine leather accessories in all the colours of the rainbow, as well as perfumes, gleaming silver, writing materials, bespoke footwear, and the softness of cashmere – there is no finer place to shop.
