EWPC is an exclusive, wedding conference where 250+ destination and premium wedding planners & luxury event specialists came together from around the world to participate in learning, networking and exploring potential business opportunities.
Over the 2 day’s extensive schedule, we all experienced educational business discussions along with many memorable celebrations. The 2-day event was held at 3 of Dubai’s best hotels Sofitel The Obelisk, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray JA the Resort.
Here are just a few of the many highlights from the event.
Day 1 of the Exotic Wedding Planning Conference commenced at Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk with the opening Keynote presented by Issam Abdul Rahim Kazim, CEO, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Highlighting Dubai as a wedding destination. Throughout the day, the conference addressed some of the most important topics shaping the future of the wedding industry. This ranged from producing high-end weddings in 2022, building a stronger business to paving the way for evolving expectations.
The day concluded with a networking cocktail session at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray that featured a curated cocktail menu and performances by Shweta Subram.
Day 2 of the conference featured an opening keynote by Adam Blackwood, Founder and Creative Director, Private Drama Events, UK, on the Science of Event Production and Storytelling. The conference carried forward the tone from the previous day and featured sessions on attracting high end clients, the supremacy of flowers and how Gen-Z is redefining the wedding industry. The day concluded with The APEX Awards, at JA Resorts. Winners were declared for categories ranging from most luxurious wedding property to wedding of the year.
