Your Greek Ultimate Luxury Escape

Five star holiday hideaway Lindian village  on the picturesque Greek Island of Rhodes this week opened its doors for 2012. And with the UK in the midst of what seems to be the wettest drought in history, it’s the perfect time for a spring escape!

As a special early season offer we’re giving you 10% off bookings made before 15th May 2012, so trade in your sweater for a swimsuit, your sou’wester for a sunshade, and come join the fun.

With average May temperatures of over 20 degrees in Rhodes, and less than three days of rain in the month, the only umbrellas you’re likely to see will be in your cocktails!

Lindian Village Greece

Nestled amongst lush Mediterranean gardens leading to dazzling blue waters, Lindian village is the ultimate luxury escape. Spread over 60 sprawling acres the resort offers an option for all types of holiday makers from couples looking for a romantic break to families in search of something a little livelier.

Centred around a church square and ancient eucalyptus tree, the resort’s 88 rooms are divided into picture perfect neighbourhoods with cobblestoned alleyways and white washed houses, just as you would find in a traditional Greek village. For total seclusion the 62 suites and junior suites each have a private garden area with a pool or Jacuzzi, perfect for lounging or holding exclusive parties and barbecues. For larger groups of guests, up to six rooms can be reserved together with a private entrance, giving you the feel of your very own village retreat.

New in our fabulous beach side spa this year we’ve teamed up with the Asian Spa Ayurvedic & City Retreat to add an Indian flavor to the menu. Between 1st and 8th June, we are delighted to welcome Yoga Master Hareesh Raj to Rhodes. For one week only, Hareesh will be leading a seven day Yoga and Ayurveda Break at Lindian village , offering a combination of yoga and spa treatments to rejuvenate both the body and the spirit.

Our programme of massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials and water treatments will continue as usual in the spa’s four treatment rooms and open-air pavilion for massages with a sea view. Guests can also use our indoor swimming pool with hydro jet massage, sauna, Turkish baths and jacuzzi for two.

Food is of course a hugely important part of Mediterranean life and we are proud to be home to some of the finest restaurants in Rhodes. Our eateries offer up different gastronomic delights from across the globe. For traditional locally sourced food and wine, our ‘Basil’ restaurant offers a variety of Greek dishes, or if it’s seafood you are after, ‘Astroscopus’ has a great selection with beautiful views over the ocean. ‘Almante’s’ serves up international cuisine, while ‘Mr Danton’s’ in the village square is the place to go for Thai food with a Western twist.

Further facilities at Lindian Village include an open air gym, tennis court, and water sports centre. There is also a private beach complete with chaises longues and beach beds and a stunning freshwater pool. If you can tear yourself out of the sun for a spot of retail therapy, the village has a selection of quirky boutiques where you can pick up jewellery, local delicacies, and maybe a souvenir or two for those back at home.

With the British weather living right up to its reputation, we invite you to spend this year’s summer holidays drying saltwater from your hair, rather than rainwater.
