What could possibly make the most elegant bridal gown better? Pockets, of course! Every girl’s best friend, I love the cute addition of pockets in wedding dresses, they’re a sweet added detail and give a lovely relaxed line to photos. Also handy for stashing a few cheeky canapes… or maybe not…!! In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with throwing pockets into any wedding dress, but here are five of my faves.
Pronovias – Xara Skirt and Xeic Bodice
Sleeves AND pockets?! With all the elegance and glamour of the 50s, I adore the scooped back, simple bodice and detailed skirt. The pockets sit perfectly within the skirt.

Inbal Dror – 19-11
With a structured corset and free flowing skirt, these opaque pockets add a really lovely extra detail. Although you wouldn’t be able to hide anything in these beauties!

Bliss Monique Lhuillier – BL19102
With a sweeping train and big, beautiful bow detail, I love the simplicity of this dress, the pockets are an effortless addition.

Justin Alexander – 88038
With crystal buttons and an absolutely gorgeous beaded back, the pockets are the finishing touch on a classic look.

Lillian West – 66017
With lace appliques scattered over the skirt and a halter neckline giving a gorgeous dipped back, the pockets compliment the more relaxed style – perfect for a garden wedding.
