A Global Celebration of Design & Creativity
Held on April 11–12, 2026, the London Special Edition marked a significant milestone for the exhibition, expanding beyond its roots in Istanbul onto the international stage.
Founded by renowned event planner Meltem Tepeler and realised in collaboration with James Lord, the event continues to redefine the intersection of art, design, and luxury experiences.
“The Art of Design” – Where Tables Become Masterpieces
This year’s theme, “The Art of Design,” invited leading designers to reinterpret iconic artists through immersive table settings.
From the expressive brushstrokes of Vincent van Gogh to the bold, contemporary vision of Yayoi Kusama, each table became a living work of art — combining florals, textures, and storytelling in a way that felt both theatrical and deeply personal.
An Unforgettable Opening at The Savoy
The exhibition opened with a spectacular evening and awards ceremony inside The Savoy’s legendary ballroom, welcoming key figures from the global luxury wedding and events industry.
Notable designers, including Johnny Roxburgh, Rob Van Helden, Ricky Paul, Katya Hutter, Paula Rooney and Elizabeth Dillingham, were recognised for their outstanding contributions to design.
Six Tables, Six Artistic Worlds
Each installation told its own story:
- A vibrant interpretation of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers
- A bold, immersive homage to Kusama’s infinite universe
- Elegant compositions inspired by Botticelli and classical sculpture
Together, they showcased how table design has evolved into a powerful form of artistic expression within the luxury wedding space.
The Art of Business – Where Connections Are Made
Beyond design, the exhibition also hosted The Art of Business symposium, bringing together leading voices in the global events industry.
With curated B2B meetings connecting luxury hotels, destinations, and planners, the event reinforced its position as a key platform for collaboration and innovation within the wedding and events sector.
