UK residents Anna and Mikhail were recently wed in a beautiful ceremony near Frankfurt Germany. Anna and Mikhail are originally from Russia and have family and connections all over the world including Germany where Mikhail’s parents live.
Their wedding at the famed Villa Rothschild Estate in the Taunus Mountains high above Frankfurt was a unique blend of Russian tradition and high octane entertainment.
Featuring a 22 piece entertainment group from Israel including the sensational Amor-Band, Jamaican blues singer Roy Young and the marvellously talented Karnelia Mango from Moscow, guests were treated to non-stop world-class music.
The venerable Villa was transformed into a beautiful floral garden by London artist Javier Salvador in a remarkable achievement that took a team of eight more than three days to accomplish.
Anna spent months shuttling back and forth between Frankfurt and her university classes along with a personal wedding planner to make sure every attention to detail was paid. Meanwhile, Javier and a floral team of eight designers from the Netherlands and UK began their work at the Villa three days before the ceremony. Meanwhile, an entertainment team from Hamburg Germany was busy building platforms and stages for an extraordinary fireworks and light show.
On a crisp October morning, more than 80 guests began streaming into Villa Rothschild to help a very beautiful Anna and Mikhail celebrate their union. The Villa was bathed in a wistful autumn morning light that was just perfect for the Christian ceremony that took place in the west wing of the estate, followed shortly thereafter by a Russian Orthodox ceremony.
For the next 12 hours following the ceremonies Anna, Mikhail and their guests danced the night away and helped to celebrate one of the most extraordinary events we have ever had the pleasure to be a part of.
You can find a gallery of more from this beautiful wedding as well an exciting multimedia show featuring all of the excitement, music and highlights from Anna and Mikhail’s celebration.
