New Collection for 2017 – Wildflowers
Inspired by country garden flowers and light, airy fabrics, this 26-piece collection is the epitome of boho elegance. The range has a soft, muted palette and features dresses in blush, champagne, and ivory – these timeless styles are perfect for brides who want to look effortlessly glamorous on their big day. The designs are feminine, whimsical and include lots of intricate floral detailing.
Designer Shanna Melville thought up the collection with a particular bride in mind. “She is a free-spirited, confident bride who knows exactly what she wants. She can appreciate quality and is looking for a subtle way to work modern boho.” The collection is perfectly suited to country manor weddings or even outdoor ceremonies.
The carefully chosen fabrics are floaty and delicate to give a breathtaking, ethereal feel. Soft silks are used in the lining so brides get a touch of luxury against their skin and layers of silk chiffon are used to enhance the angelic nature of the collection. The beautiful lace that appears throughout the range is sourced from across Europe and adds a luxurious element to the dresses.
All Shanna Melville dresses are made-to-measure, so each and every bride will be able to walk down the aisle with a bespoke fitting gown that complements their figure beautifully. At Shanna’s welcoming London studio, each bride will have a one-on-one appointment to turn her dream dress into a reality and the team will be there every step of the way, right through to the final fitting, to ensure the bride’s vision is met.
Each dress in the range gives a new twist on the classic bridal look and there’s a style that’s perfect for every personality. The hero dress of the Wildflowers collection is Daisy. This stunning design has a silk chiffon skirt that skims the body and also comes with a hand-beaded, detachable top – so the look can easily be transformed from ceremony to reception. Bailey is Shanna’s favourite design with its statement V-neck cut and dramatic tulle skirt. The floral appliqué detailing adds real wow-factor and it’s ideal for brides looking to make a statement on their wedding day.
