Caroline Castigliano’s ‘Celebrating Romance’ wedding dress collection is beautifully and aptly named. With cascading silk organza teamed with fitted bodices, hand appliqued lace and even some pockets thrown in, this collection has that timeless feel that is effortlessly glamorous. The collection looks gorgeous, shot at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Caroline explained,
“I chose to shoot our advertising campaign at the V&A as this is an institution of British history and one of the most iconic museums in the world, I feel inspired the minute I step in to the V&A.”
I can’t think of a more perfect location to capture these dresses – here are my 5 Star favourite five, but you can view the full collection here.
A traditional A line, with secret pockets and a sweet halterneck and crossover straps. With the addition of a smooth circular train, I love the blend of contemporary and traditional.
With overlaid embroidered tulle shrug, this one looks totally modest and unassuming from the front, but the back hides a deep V, reaching down to a full silk organza skirt. The pretty ribboned waist creates such an elegant silhouette.
A figure hugging fishtail skirt creates a sleek and dramatic silhouette, with tiny buttons trailing down the back. The corseted bodice is overlaid with the most beautifully beaded shrug – an elegant and chic creation.
With the air of a graceful ballerina’s tutu, the silk skirt of this gown sits beautifully under the sweetest camisole top, with guipare lace layered over Chantilly lace for the ultimate in bridal elegance.
What a perfect name for this breathtaking gown! Simple lines and a sweetheart neckline create the epitome of a classic wedding dress. Pairing the dress with a beaded tulle cape takes it to the next level.
Such an elegant and serene collection, giving a modern twist to traditional gowns, pairing beautiful fabrics with stunning silhouettes. You can see the full collection here.
