Leonardo Tornabene

I am Leonardo, an Italian photographer based both in Turin and Catania, but I am always ready to be anywhere in Italy as long an emotion needs to be catch and remembered.

For over twenty years photography has been my world. I love photography, cinema and everything that speaks within images. My brand is called Ballon Rouge because this is the movie that inspired me when I decided to start my career as a professional photographer.

Photos never need explanations, Images speak lauder then word.

The concept behind my work:

• I always use three aphorisms to describe my work: 
• Crave to discover
• Desire to create emotions 
• Pleasure of capturing them all

This three concepts describe the way I approach to each photographic story. 

The camera is only an instrument I use to catch moments. Every single photo is much more than a simple image. My Photos are the result of the path of all these years of study and experience, all the place I've seen, all the books I read, the music I have been listening to, the people I have loved, the scents I breathed and all the emotions I felt.

Spending a day without being a photographer is like neglecting myself, is a day I haven’t lived.

My photographing style is dominate by instinct. I love to tell stories with photos, I look for images, to compose a movie with a start, a central part and the end. My idea is to revive moments that the couple have lived but they have not seen.
