96.3 Radio Aire challenged 30 potential brides from all over Leeds and West Yorkshire battling it out to raise as much money as possible for Radio Aire’s charity Cash for Kids AND to win a £30,000 dream wedding fit for royalty!

The winning couples were Claire Roland and Edward Norton from Cookridge in Leeds, who raised a staggering £14,643.15 in just one week! This was a phenomenal amount of money and the team at Cash for Kids were totally blown away.

In total, the competition raised a phenomenal £53,851.55 in one week for Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids charity and is the most ever raised by a single charity campaign at the station. The funds will go a long way to helping sick and disadvantaged children in Leeds and West Yorkshire.
