5 Star Wedding Directory were beyond excited to be the official media partner again for the incredible Bridelux Symposium. After 18 months, the industry finally came together to learn how to ‘Build On The Boom’ at the Bridelux Symposium earlier this month.

The Symposium opened at the Shangri-La The Shard with an Alpine Chalet Chic Party sponsored by Switzerland Tourism. Held at the highest point in Europe, the Party overlooked the city and Thames beautifully.

This was followed by two jam-packed day conference sessions held at The Carlton Tower Jumeriah with some of the most elite industry experts. Including Sarah Haywood, Touker Suleyman, Julian Posner, Rosie Nixon, Elizabeth Solaru and Andrew Wolmark. The speakers covered topics from ‘Investing In Wedding Businesses’ to ‘Attracting the Luxury Market and Increasing Your Prices’. The sessions were precious and just what the industry needed to gain insight on how to build from this industry boom.

The second night was a Soaring 2020’s Party held at The Berkeley. The ballroom was transformed into a Gatsbyesque speakeasy, with immersive entertainment by Black Rabbit Projects, incredible production by Luminaire Events, and on theme furniture by Great Options Hire.

Day Two: Building on the Boom Conference at the Carlton Tower Jumeirah
The Symposium closed with an exquisite Gala Awards Dinner held at The Dorchester. The ballroom was transformed into an enchanted forest with 10 000 pink roses by Floward, chandeliers, fuchsia lighting, and seamless production by Banana Split. I was so honoured to present the award for the best wedding entertainment!
