Wedding Colour Palette: Black and White

A black and white wedding colour palette can be chic, sophisticated and gorgeously luxurious.

There are so many ways to include these two striking tones without looking like you’ve invited a game of chess to your day! Here are some of our favourite looks to give you some inspiration.

Add some nature

Black and white can be quite a stark contrast, so adding some natural foliage to your wedding palette softens the look and brings some warmth.

Have fun with it

Just because you’re going with a fairly formal colour scheme, it doesn’t mean it can’t be just as fun and frivolous!

Add a metallic

You know we love a bit of sparkle! Adding gold brings a gorgeous Art Deco wedding vibe.

Keep it dainty

Keeping the wedding white with little touches of black keeps it fresh and elegant. A bow here, a balloon there… rather than going for a 50/50 colour split.

Make it light, not creepy

Unless that’s what you’re going for! Jet black runs the risk of evoking spooky feelings, so make it smooth and chic – black’s not good at being subtle!
