The Grammy Awards have always been the key award show where fashion takes a turn. The red carpet fills up with risky and eye-popping fashion statements made by the world’s best designers and everyone is trying their best to be crowned as the best dressed (apart from those who also want to win a Grammy award). This year was no exception as the stars didn’t disappoint as they arrived on the red carpet Sunday evening.
It is the first time, in the history of the Grammys that the ceremony was held in Las Vegas. It’s the 64th Grammy ceremony was initially slated for January but was postponed due to Covid-19.
After 2 years without any award shows, the music stars put out their very best outfits in an effort to steal the spotlight with their glamorous attires. We have made a Best Dressed List below and will also add some special outfits that are affordable and make you feel like a rockstar with these red carpet looks. Here we go!

Some of the music industry’s biggest stars opted to wear classic black pieces such as Dua Lipa who wore a stunning sheer Versace bondage dress dripping with gold to Billie Eilish who rocked the red carpet voluminous Rick Owens skirt look.
Although they chose to wear a black assemble, it was pink that dominated the colour palette on the red carpet.

Double-nominee Saweetie wore a hot pink Valentino two-piece with matching opera gloves, that stole the show! Chrissy Teigen and St. Vincent also stood out on the red carpet in dramatic ruffled creations, both in slightly lighter shades of colour.

And of course, the brilliant Billy Porter could not be missed as he wowed everyone with this outfit chosen, in a spectacular florescent creation from Valentino’s Fall-Winter 2022 womenswear collection.

Travis Barker also chose to rock pink on the carpet as he wore a silky pink robe. Another hot fashion statement was made by Trevor Noah, who sported a pastel-coloured tuxedo jacket

Elsewhere, BTS members looked ravishing whilst sporting an array of colourful custom Louis Vuitton suits.

Justin Bieber took a more relaxed approach, with an oversized suit accessorized with one of his signature beanies (this one also embraced the hot pink trend).

Although Bieber is one of the world’s most popular musicians and icons, Hailey was the one that stole the spotlight whilst walking next to her hubby in a simple, glamorous, long silk gown, combined with delicate and discrete jewellery.

Lil Nas X was one of the stars who chose a show-stopping detailing, sequins that made a statement, both opting for butterfly embellishments in, respectively, a long-sleeved gown and a theatrical Balmain suit.

Accessories were the biggest stars when it came to red carpet styling, as many celebrities chose accessories heavily with their outfit choice, which elevated their looks. One of the stars that opted for heavy accessorizing is Halsey with her unique sculptural hat and of course Doja Cat’s iconic, candy-filled glass bag.

Another star to steal the spotlight is Olivia Rodrigo, who also won her first 4 Grammys during the live show. The young star wore a stunning black dress, accompanied by classic long black, satin gloves and a breath-taking choker.

Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast wore a bright yellow Valentino dress, completing the look with elaborate nail art.
