Real wedding: A perfect Persian day

In a room dripping with orchids and sparkling from floor to ceiling, Samia and Rohi celebrated in glamorous and romantic style.

Samia chose a classic layered tulle Ines Di Santo gown with lace overlaid bodice and a full length lace trimmed veil. Sparkling Jimmy Choos matched the diamond drop earrings, bracelet and necklace that sat alongside the glittering tiara – sparkles were a theme for this wedding!

The couple chose clean and classic white and gold as their wedding colour palette, with centrepieces sparkling with crystals and candles. The cake matched perfectly, with white tiers embellished with rich gold detail. I love a floral wall, and Samia and Rohi’s was a decadent backdrop, filled with roses and orchids that matched the centrepieces and Samia’s bouquet.

Real wedding: A perfect Persian day

Traditionally, Persian weddings have no ceremony, but the couple did exchange rings before launching into a big, beautiful celebration. There’s nothing quite like a family party, and Samia and Rohi’s day was a simply fabulous family occasion!

With almost 500 guests filling the dancefloor, the couple honoured their Syrian heritage by incorporating traditional musical elements.
