Maleni’s wedding dress was a classic cut, a beautiful A-line with keyhole back and deep V at the front. An elegant lace overlay matched the trim of her veil and she chose to wear her hair up with a plaited crown, before letting it tumble around her shoulders and adding a gorgeous flower crown for the celebrations.

Bridesmaids were in blush pink with hints of gold, each in their own choice of dress and picking out the colour from Maleni’s bridal bouquet. Groom Tony and his groomsmen chose navy blue and grey suits – an excellent alternative to black, with each groomsman bringing the style with a sharp bow tie and a pair of Ray Bans.

Flowers were simple – an ombre palette shading through from red to blush. Bouquets were white roses studded with pink, and wedding decorations included red gerbera and pink roses as well. Cute details were added to the outdoor reception area with flowers hung in jars and draped across tables along with impressive bay trees and gold accents. Maleni’s flower crown was the perfect addition to the floral displays and the semi-naked wedding cake had a floral crown of its own.

Celebrations went on into the night under sparkling Mexican stars, with toasts, dancing illuminated by the huge ‘LOVE’ sign and sparklers to wish the happy couple well.
