Hidden in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, among the homes of the rich and famous, sits The Bentley Hotel London. Opulently draped in a palette of gold, red and white, this is luxuriant indulgence at its best. With 64 rooms and suites, the hotel showcases its timeless elegance with luxurious fabrics, intricate details and rich colour.
We were invited to stay for a night and were in awe as soon as we stepped over the threshold. We were greeted with lavish gold gilding, red silk chairs, sparkling crystal chandeliers and polished marble floors so shiny you could almost see your reflection in them. Eva, the general manager, offered us a warm welcome as we were shown our suite, which was beautiful.

The suite
The Imperial Suite is one of the largest and most luxurious suites in central London, with beautiful marble floors, a grand piano and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the room with light. The marble bathroom has stunning gold taps, a steam room, and a Jacuzzi, perfect for the ultimate relaxation. It also has access to Le Kalon Spa, where we enjoyed a Turkish Hammam, which thoroughly relaxed us for the afternoon.

The spa
Le Kalon Spa offers a range of body and massage treatments, including a Cleopatra’s Gold facial, which uses 24-carat gold – perfect for a special treat with the girls and a gorgeous afternoon tea. The spa boasts a marble interior, with hand-painted walls and a gorgeously soothing and relaxing natural colour palette. It’s a true haven, a little sanctuary to relax and refresh – de-stress and de-toxify – before facing the real world again!

Weddings at The Bentley Hotel London
We had a tour of the hotel to see what they can offer couples wanting to get married here, and we loved what we saw! They provide a range of spaces depending on your taste, size and style of wedding. With silk-swathed walls and opulent chandeliers, this is the perfect hideaway for a small wedding. It even has a secret door from the street.

Eating at The Bentley Hotel London
We enjoyed a quiet and private dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, Peridot, which offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The menu was lovely, and the service was brilliant. Crab cakes, a chicken stir fry and an epic chocolate fondant were the perfect end to the most relaxing day before we retreated to our suite for a beautiful night’s sleep.

We were made to feel so welcome at The Bentley Hotel London; it has its unique charm, which we loved. Ideal for a hen weekend, afternoon tea or luxurious wedding, this is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.
