Spring wedding flowers

As the heavy, velvety hues of winter fade, I adore the fresh colours that come peeping out in spring. New season flowers are a simple joy, and what better way to celebrate them than in your spring wedding bouquet. Here are some of my favourite ways to incorporate spring blooms into your luxury wedding flowers.

Keep it light

A small posy of pinks, peaches and light greens is so pretty. Using lighter shades creates the feeling that you’ve picked the first fresh flowers of the season – new growth that’s bravely explored the new season.

Make it seasonal

Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and bluebells are a magical way to incorporate something a little different. We’re used to seeing these woodland bulbs in their natural habitat, so pop them into your wedding flowers for visions of a little magical sunlit glade.

Choose what you like

Transitional seasons allow for a little less structure. Why not just choose a few blossoms of your favourite new flowers and twine them together in an unstructured bouquet. Table decorations can be different too, creating a beautiful rainbow across your celebration.

Blossom

If you’ve chosen an early spring wedding, decorating with the very first, delicate colours can be simply stunning. White and pink blossom branches make a beautiful display, and compliment the romance of a blush colour palette.

Surprise the senses

Have you thought about something a little different? Flowers may smell divine, but why not go for a herbal bouquet and arrangements? Fill your celebration with fresh scents with little herb pots on each table, and weave them into your bouquet as well.
