A gorgeous lakeside location mixed with a palette of pure white and inky black made this the perfect lakeside wedding for our beautiful couple. Krista and Tyler’s wedding was as serene as the lake they chose as their location. We just adore the peace and calm that flowed through this day – by keeping each element simple and chic the couple captured a sleek and ethereal atmosphere in which to celebrate their beautiful day.
Krista chose a beautiful soft A-line dress, with long layers of tulle and a beautifully appliqued top layer. The gorgeous wrap effect bodice was embellished with a sparkling waistband.
Simple accessories were all that was needed for this gown. Strings of pearls around Krista’s wrist and pearl stud earrings left the attention on the gown as the bride floated down the aisle.
Krista chose to leave her hair down in loose curls, perfectly epitomising the calm and peaceful feel of the day.
Tyler’s suit was a sleek and elegant grey two-piece, which he accessorised with a simple slim black tie. A crisp white shirt and black shoes were all that were needed to complete the look – along with his striking white buttonhole, which featured white heather, sprigs of greenery and berries, all tied with a cool black ribbon.
The bridesmaids continued the effortlessly chic vibe with mis-matched dresses in neutral tones. Each girl chose a dress to suit her, with shoes to match, and they all wore their hair in loose curls, matching the bride’s look perfectly.
To fit with the white theme, Krista’s flower girls were dressed in pure white dresses in different styles, with matching lace trim.
Impressive floral features framed the ceremony itself, with dahlias, hydrangeas and gladioli reaching up to the ceiling with dark willow twigs and lush foliage.
The girls all carried large bouquets of hydrangea, lily-of-the-valley and white heather, with fern fronds and hand tied with white ribbon.
Krista chose an impressive bouquet of large white lilies. A gorgeous choice to infuse the day with a beautiful fragrance.
With a striking monochrome colour palette, black accents accentuated the white features. Black table linens, sparkling runners, black chairs and black floral accents made the white flowers, crockery and white ribbon features really shine.
The cake was a beautifully chic and stylish white double tiered creation, decorated simply with dahlia blooms and a simple topper. We love its eye-catching simplicity.
Elegant, chic and stylish, we love the sleek, effortless simplicity of this gorgeous monochrome wedding. It’s the perfect palette if you want your white wedding to really stand out!
