Reem Acra is a renowned international designer. Creating ready-to-wear and bridal collections from New York, her presence spans the globe, with her creations found on luxury retail websites as well as outlets around the world.
Her latest collection, Celebration, fuses the glamour of a beautiful party with the ethereal, classic bridal gowns. It was shown at New York Bridal Fashion Week in October 2018, and it was such a wonderful show. “The idea of creating the world’s most over-the-top, glamorous bridal dinner party was an idea I have wanted to do for years. I loved the idea of combining my ready-to-wear with bridal for the Celebration collection—injecting colour and fun into the show,” says Acra.

The dresses were displayed behind full length veils – stunningly detailed and delicate in themselves. I adore the simplicity of this satin A-line dress. It really lets the veil shine with its pretty floral appliques, whilst being effortlessly classic.

Sweet floral detail scattered over layers of tulle with a sweetheart neckline makes this the prettiest of gowns.

A semi-sheer sheath features a delicate lacework bodice and a jewel bow to add sweet detail to the waist. The lace tumbles down onto the skirt like rambling wild roses, with sparkling detail.

It definitely is! This sugar-sweet ballgown is effortlessly pretty, teamed with a veil scattered with appliqued flowers, like blossom falling from a tree – a perfect combination.

With a lace overlay and dropped shoulders, this one also has a lace covered scooped back as well. Long sleeves give this such an elegant neckline.
