Wedding dress collection: Temperley London Fall 2019
With tones of blush and rose running through the designs, Alice Temperley’s new collection also sparkles with sequins and embellishments scattered throughout. With ruffles, bows and sheer panels, this collection is inspired by the 1920s party girl. Gorgeous gowns that take you from dazzling ceremony to dancing the night away. I’ve chosen my 5 Star favourite five, but you can find the full collection here.
Mimi is dripping in 1920s party vibes. Sequinned ruffles glitter gently down to a fluted skirt, giving a hint of a traditional train, and white tulle adds all the bridal chic you need. Sweet capped sleeves dip down to a low back and V neck – I just love the mix of modern and old school glamour.
Taking inspiration from the midnight sky, Celeste has crystal and sequin starbursts scattered across it. Ethereal floating sleeves and a matching train give this dress a dreamy quality, and I adore the long satin bow, fastening the open back beautifully.
Soft pink tulle layers make for a pretty skirt and ivory satin contrasts in strips across the bodice, adding a lovely detail. Inspired by the 50s, this gown has sparkling crystals adorning appliqued hearts and flowers that scatter down to a simple train.
A sleek and simple silhouette, this gown takes its inspiration from vintage lingerie. Pitched petals and sparkling beading add beautiful sparkling detail, and I think the matching headpiece is the perfect accessory.
Glamourous in all its detailed glory, Phoebe’s embroidered blush tulle stretches up to an elegant sweetheart neckline and sheer illusion panel that follows crystals chains and sparkling stones round to more detail on the back. Definitely one for a bride with short hair or an updo!
