A Real Wedding – Nichola & Michael Wood At Coombe Abbey Coventry

Nichola & Michael live in Lancashire but fell in love with Coombe Abbey whilst attending a business function there. All of their suppliers including florists, chocolate fountain, magician, caricaturist-all came from the North West.

 Nichola’s dress was a 2 piece My Lady dress- heavily beaded embroidered bodice and full ruffled skirt.  Coombe Abbey is a fabulously grand 12th century Abbey in Warwickshire and Nichola’s choice of dress fit in with the stunning location perfectly.

We met Nichola & Michael at a North West local wedding fair and we had their pre wedding shoot at their home In Lancashire with their 3 daughters.

The wedding day was damp and drizzly but that dd not spoil a fabulous day. The ceremony was candlelit with harp accompaniment-very intimate and low key until the bride and bridesmaids came down the aisle to Here Come the Girls. Nichola and Michael’s daughters did the readings which were very sweet and sometimes emotional.

The weather improved as the sun set so that Nichola and Michael could go outside for some beautiful twilight.  Guests were entertained prior to the wedding breakfast with a close quarters magician and a caricaturist and Nichola & Micheal kickstarted the evening reception in the fabulous ballroom with their first dance as Mr & Mrs. Wood.
