It is a little-known fact that Auberge du Lac, on the Brocket Hall estate in Hertfordshire, holds exclusive weddings for up to 62 guests. A wedding venue for the admirers of fine cuisine, Auberge du Lac, formally the estate’s 18th Century hunting lodge, is now an internationally acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant, with a host of private dining rooms, a beautiful lounge and al fresco terrace.
Whilst Hertfordshire’s most recognised restaurant is a popular summer venue and a regular feature in Top Table’s “Most Romantic Restaurants”, it is considered even more beautiful in winter. Nestled on the banks of the Broadwater Lake, this idyllic and intimate wedding venue is perfect for the smaller, sophisticated weddings that take place on the Brocket Hall Estate. Enjoy a glass of champagne on the lakeside terrace, surrounded by 543 acres of serenity, before sitting down to a Michelin-starred wedding breakfast, with a menu created by Executive Chef Phil Thompson.
Available from now until the end of March 2012, Auberge du Lac are delighted to unveil their Sunday Winter Wedding package, which is priced at £7,995 and includes the below, based on 50 guests:
