“My passion for baking was awoken at an early age by my wee Scottish Gran and I’m sure she’d be delighted to see the beautiful cakes you enjoy today. Not only was she a gifted baker, but she was also an expert at creating a sense of occasion. I’ll never forget how special I felt when her hostess trolley appeared, attractively laden with handmade sweet treats. Now, I pour my heart and soul into capturing that same magic for you, interpreting your ideas and expertly creating a unique cake experience.
I could happily spend all my days making sugar flowers, but when it’s time for some fresh air you’ll often find me walking in the beautifully manicured gardens of stately homes. I just love taking in the juxtaposition of worn stone and flowers that have found an opportunity to nestle in the cracks and make them beautiful. I use nature to inspire my cake design and love to incorporate both sugar and edible flowers and other delicate natural elements in both my cakes and patisserie.”
