A Pretty Pink Party
We always love a fabulous summer soirée, so when we received the bright pink, floral invite to Amie Bone’s, we couldn’t have been more excited.
Flowers everywhere!
Held in the aptly named Garden Room at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, we were greeted by such a pretty display. Beautiful big candles and lanterns, a ceiling full of pink and red balloons and a stunning floral wall, which led us up the staircase to the room. The bannisters were adorned with huge, amazing thick florals, roses and hydrangeas and at the top, we were met with a living statue, like a Greek sculpture, tastefully covered in more beautiful blooms to protect his modesty!
Beautiful food and more beautiful flowers
We had such a warm welcome from Amie as we entered and paused to take in the amazing party! Food stations offered prawns and oysters, dessert tables tempted us with macarons and cupcakes and the room was decorated to perfection. Moss covered table legs, flowers draping to the floor and another very carefully covered model adorned the room and we were serenaded with a pianist, playing beautiful, soft melodies.
Such an elegant cake
Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium supplied the cake – a stunning six tiers, so pretty and delicate, but enormous in stature! Alongside the cake sat cupcakes and intricately painted biscuits, looking too perfect to eat. There was so much beauty everywhere we looked, it was the perfect summer party.
Aimee Dunne had coordinated the event, and she welcomed us alongside Amie Bone and the venue’s representative.
Perfect party vibes
The party continued in full flow – it was so lovely to catch up with our industry friends and share the wonderful time with them. The atmosphere livened up, and we enjoyed amazing magic from a close-up magician and music by a violinist, playing an electric violin.
All parties sadly must end
The evening flew by in a happy blur of pink florals, and before we departed, we were each presented with a goody bag containing the most gorgeous little biscuits iced with flowers and butterflies in such intricate detail, as well as a beautiful glass vase containing a few of the prettiest pink flowers.
