With the gusty snow flurries and sparkling frosty ground, it may look pretty out there, but balmy warm it is not! If you’re planning a wedding in winter, or atop a snowy mountain, it might be wise to delight your friends and family with some tasty treats to coax them away from the comfort and warmth of their own homes!
To have and to hold… in case you get cold…
If you’re planning any part of your wedding outside, or in a boho barn, providing your loved ones with a cosy shawl, snuggly blanket or luxurious pashmina will keep them warm throughout the celebrations. Match the colours to your chosen palette and make sure every guest has one, or display them in a beautiful basket for them to help themselves to. They can also take them away as a favour to remember your day.
Warm hands, warm heart
Keep their hands toasty with gorgeous hand warmers. Either self-activated gel packs, or have a wonderful basket of sweet smelling lavender and wheat pouches. Get them warmed up and let guests dive in.
Hot Chocolate for everyone!
Not just a kiddie treat, let your guests indulge in some amazingly decadent hot chocolate to warm them up. A hot chocolate station will mean they can help themselves and customise their drink as they desire. Add some grown-up treats as well for added warmth! And why stop at chocolate? Mulled wine, hot cider… the possibilities are endless!
Keep the fire alive
If your chosen venue has an open fire – make sure they light it! And if not, a fire pit is a wonderful addition. Toasting marshmallows and cuddling up around a fire is certainly a wonderful way to finish your day.
…and if none of that takes your fancy, there’s no better excuse to get the dancing started early…!
