On a sunny summer day in June, Ivan and Renee celebrated their wedding in a garden in Huntington Beach, California. Surrounded by wildflowers and greenery, this couple’s deep bond was evident throughout the day as they began their adventure into married life.
Renee chose a simple and beautiful sheath dress, figure hugging and with a sweet train and lace edging. Her lace trimmed veil added the perfect detail to the look, sitting in a half up-half down hairstyle that fitted with the relaxed theme. Ivan’s plaid blue suit was a great choice, a slightly less formal shade than black, and his pink plaid tie matched the bridesmaids’ blush and taupe dresses perfectly. His groomsmen did away with formal jackets, which works so well with a relaxed garden theme, sticking with matching shoes, braces and belts, along with pink plaid ties to match Ivan’s. The couple’s first look was just so sweet!
Flowers were wild, with plenty of greenery. Less formal arrangements are ideal for a garden or outdoor wedding where nature itself gives you relaxed lines and informal breezes! Hand tied and mis-matched, the bouquets fitted with the theme along with the gazebo décor – pretty white chiffon and more beautiful pink and purple wild flowers to adorn the entrance. Table décor was more of the same – a beautiful abundance of draping wildflowers and fresh greenery.
Renee and Ivan chose a gold accent to their palette, with splashes of metallic through their décor and tablescape. An metallic accent brings a fizz of luxury to a palette, and gold is a gorgeously regal and fresh choice for a summer, outdoor wedding. Strings of sparkling lights made sure their celebrations were illuminated into the night – a must have for an outdoor wedding!
