A perfect purple wedding for Jocelyn and Jason
One windy Saturday in November, best friends Jocelyn and Jason said their vows. The depth of love and respect these two have for each other is simply beautiful, this was such a special day for them both. Take a look at their stunning wedding…
The bride
Wearing a beautiful keyhole back Demetrios gown, Jocilyn looked every inch the picture perfect princess bride. Intricate sparkling embellishment and layers of tulle floated down to a sweet train that revealed the cute glittering purple shoes that hid underneath.
Jocilyn chose a short, lace edged veil and wore her hair in a simple chignon to ensure the gorgeous feature back of her wedding dress was on full view.
Sparkling teardrop accessories finished the look perfectly.
The groom
To fit with the purple colour palette, Jason wore a deep purple waistcoat as part of his smart three piece wedding suit. Shiny black shoes are a must for any groom, and Jason’s fit the bill perfectly.
The first look
The couple chose to have a ‘first look’ on the morning of their wedding, just the two of them. A lovely way to check in with each other and have a sneak peek before the big day kicks off.
The flowers
Gloriously rich, purple centred lilies sat alongside white roses and deep purple flowers in Jocilyn’s bouquet. Floral displays featured shades of purple, sitting next to each other in exquisite arrangements. Hydrangea and roses hung with crystals lined the aisle and sat proudly on the tables at the reception.
The ceremony
Held in a beautifully decorated room at The Renaissance International Plaza Hotel in Florida, the couple said their vows among friends and family. A gauzy gazebo framed the couple perfectly, decorated with the accent coloured flowers, which adorned the petal-strewn aisle as well.
The cake
An impressive, towering four-tiered creation made the perfect centrepiece, with detailed purple piped accents and topped with fresh flowers.
The décor
Following the purple colour theme, the room was bathed in a violet glow. Table linens followed the style and sparkling napkin rings elegantly caught the light.
The celebration
First dance, bouquet toss and dancing made sure the night was one to remember for a happy life.
