Poundon House Merges The Traditional With The Exotic
Poundon House, a private country house on the Oxfordshire and Buckingham border, together with Wedding and Event Planners, Amore, will be hosting a Fusion Wedding Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday May 7th 2012. Combining the best of the Eastern and Western wedding industries, the fayre promises to showcase unique ideas suited to all brides & grooms searching for that little something extra to make their wedding day stand out.
With some of the most creative and exciting wedding professionals attending, couples can enjoy a free wedding consultation with Amore Weddings (worth £50), sample a fusion of Western and Eastern canapés from our recommended caterers, talk with our favorite photographers, videographer, florists, bridal wear, stationary and meet many experienced professionals, many of whom are amongst the industry leaders. It will be an opportunity for couples to research ideas and discuss their wedding.
We are excited to be able to confirm that The Bridal Coach will be attending and giving invaluable tips to brides at the fayre.
For couples that register via Poundon House’s website in advance, there will also be the opportunity to win fantastic prizes. Prizes will include a night’s stay at luxury boutique B & B Hope House, worth over £495.
“Following the success of last year’s fayre, we’re really excited to be hosting the fayre again with Poundon House. We’ve tried to stay clear of the run of the mill wedding fayre with rows of tables of literature, ensuring that as the Bride & Groom walk around the venue, they can visualize their most memorable occasion taking place at Poundon House. At the same time, we have personally vetted each of the suppliers who will be exhibiting, and who will very generously be offering all kinds of incentives to brides and grooms on the day.“ – Amore Weddings & Events
Recent comments from couples that got married at Poundon House show what a wonderful venue it is:
“We had our Civil and Indian ceremonies at Poundon House….This place is a hidden gem in Oxfordshire and retains that lovely personal charm making the wedding feel even more intimate. All our guests were able to get here easily from London and the Midlands. The marquee definitely had the wow factor compared to most marquees.” Mrs. Petkar
It is from 11am – 4pm and admission is free. A complimentary afternoon tea will be served on the Terrace and Gift Bags given to all couples.
